I think of playwriting as a giant puzzle where only a finite number of pieces will fit. Your job is to add, subtract and rearrange all your thoughts and ideas until a singular vision appears, which is often a surprise. As far as subject matter is concerned, I like to challenge myself by writing plays in different periods of times and genres. That way my writing stays fresh, and the audience and myself have the extra benefit of experiencing something new each time.
Thank you for stopping by, and best of luck in all your life's pursuits.
